Just did my Medical FFI today. Total time I did it totalled ten minutes. Total travelling time plus waiting time took four. Saw Zhengyan, Gab, Meng Keong and Ah Boy, talked abit, declined an invitation to IKEA, and it was the 166 ride home. Horrible afternoon.
Got this job opportunity from Josh Kor at Shell; it pays 7.50 an hour, whereby three is already given to the company. That's a thousand two hundred per month, merits serious consideration, and unless something more slack and lucrative drops onto my lap, this is pretty attractive.
Having said all that, I think this is my 299th blog entry. Way to go man, after June 2004.

It's funny.. you get new relevations every day. Like, I can't dribble the ball that well anymore. I can't play the game, soccer. Or, I don't have diabetes, but instead a massive high sugar dosage. Phew?

This is stupid.. I suspect I have diabetes. There's been this patch of rotting flesh on the sole of my right foot, and they, being doctors and a certain Lin Minghui, say it's a confirmation sign of diabetes.

To whom I'm addressing, I'm not sure. But it's common knowledge I feel, that one man does not make a team. Even less a crippled one.The issue of poaching players is a sensitive one. But unavoidable, it is. If there was a list of necessity, I have, on hand, a need for one keeper, two defenders, arguably one energetic midfielder, and a chap committed to his striking role. Provided he can strike, of course. Anyone can strike the ball. Anyone can kick the ball real hard, just can't aim it that well. There was one, but he got dragged away by the tide, and here we are.You know what's the problem with star teams? They've got all the X-factors. The fancy footwork and dashing moves. But they don't have the rest of the stuff. I can tell everyone "Oh yea, we've got the big names. You can stop him? no you can't. One on one he's gonna eat you alive" but he eats you alive and your teammate slaughters him. So where do we go from there? You know what? We don't have enough heart. No one's put their heart into it, there isn't anybody willing to pour their soul to fill the spirit. It's empty, a shell of unfulfiled promise, words that hang in the air. Players being willed to drop from the sky, by wishes made from a hopeless lies.

China Snippet for today =S The Acrobat Show(s)
The Great Moscow Circus, the "S" troupe.. nothing comes close to a Chinese Acrobat show. You know why?
'cos they make it look so easy.
It's seriously disturbing to watch one "sub-standard" performance, then experience another just three days later. Because the sub-standard one wasn't lousy at all, just that the better one was, well, better.
Other than the usual balancing acts, and the very grosteque twisting of bodies (the feet touch the head the other way), there were of course the higher level stunts. A larger girl connecting to the smaller one using only a small rope attached to their mouths, swinging in mid air a few stories above the ground. And it was overshadowed by 8 motorcycles riding in a huge metal grilled globe at top speed. Scary.

Foot rot is still killing me. Dear MO has promised a letter to the skin center, but it'll probably be an appointment after ORD. Yes, ORD. It's finally on my lips. Can taste the sweetness.. of impending freedom.Never knew it'll be this bad. But it's one week after it all started, so the worse is over.Pity I didn't take any photos =/

If you wanted a post filled with tales of a delightful trip, I can't give you that. I'm sorry, but if a story was to be written
The thing about China, for me at least, is that it should be ancient. It should be ancient; this is China we're talking about. A nation of, as she claims, five thousand years of history. An old person, a crippled figure with all the years of her age written on her face in lines of events and memories, of past glories and forgotten regrets eternal. I want to see the old houses, the gentle curve of the rooftops, angling in the arc of a dragon's pose.
I wanted, I mean. It's all over and done with.And.. probably I'll talk about it one day. But not now. Foot rot is killing me.
